About Me
Who Am I?
My name is Priscilla Rybakov. I am an Architectural Technologist as well as a certified Practitioner of Classical Feng Shui and BaZi (birth chart).
I am an honors graduate of the Architectural Engineering Program at Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) in Edmonton Alberta, Canada, (class of 2002). I am also an honors graduate of the Master Practitioner Classical Feng Shui Program by Dato Joey Yap, Mastery Academy of Chinese Metaphysics in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (completed 2013).
While my career in architecture started in 2002 serving as a junior architectural technologist with a popular home builder in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; home design was my passion from a very young age. My favorite childhood pass time was sitting with a piece of grid paper, a ruler and a pencil putting to paper the houses I was creating in my mind (pre-CAD era). While I was quite happy developing my practical skills in building design working with local home builders; my free spirit was calling me to express how I felt homes needed to be designed, with the natural environment as a key design factor. In 2007, I took a leap of faith and quit my day job to offer myself as an independent home designer. Best decision ever!
My passion for Classical Feng Shui was born soon after I began freelancing. I was introduced to the subject of Feng Shui while studying architecture; but, it was having a sick child that pushed me to master the art. My Feng Shui knowledge started with New Age Feng Shui, the one which is most accessible and talked about on social media, etc. However, I became a true practitioner after I studying formally under Dato Joey Yap of Malaysia. With the professional guidance of my new teacher, I was able to help my sick child (neither western nor eastern medicine could offer a solution). I received a Joey Yap Master Practitioner of Classical Feng Shui in 2013.
With an ever growing thirst for more knowledge, within a few years of mastering Feng Shui, I delved into the art of BaZi (personal birth charts from date of birth).
Today, my professional focus is helping people, like you, live a life filled with health support, positivity and abundance via creatively designing the spaces you live and work in!
