My name is Priscilla Rybakov, but I have lived most of my life as 'Joy' White (maiden name) from Valleyfield, Bonavista North. I was born in a small fishing community on the island of Newfoundland, Canada. Nothing particularly special about my younger years, other than I started drawing house plans from about the age of six, using only colored pencils, a ruler, and plain paper. Back then, my heart knew I was destined for a career in architectural design.
From a BaZi perspective, (Chinese Astrology), I am a Ji Earth day master with a Creator structure/Artist profile and a strong presence of the yin metal element in my chart. The elements of fire and earth are particularly beneficial for me; design and metaphysics relate to fire, while building and houses relate to earth. The abundant yin metal element gives me opportunities in areas requiring precision, creativity, and writing. Ji Earth day master individuals are known to be resourceful, trustworthy, nurturing, and they find great joy in helping others. All these aspects explain why my optimal career path lies in designing unique houses with metaphysics,; applying the Classical Feng Shui and BaZi tools to help people like you lead happy and prosperous lives.
In simpler terms, I possess a natural talent for designing houses in a unique and meaningful way.
Far from my birthplace, I now reside in beautiful Greece with my husband and son, choosing to soak up the sun and sea while designing meaningful houses to people around the world!
I am a certified Architectural Technologist (honors) from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. For the past 25 years, I have been actively involved in architectural design, choosing to work independently from my home office.
Additionally, I am a master practitioner of Classical Feng Shui from The Mastery Academy of Chinese Metaphysics in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. My journey in this field began with a determination to find a solution for my sick child. After years of study and investing thousands of dollars in professional reference books, alongside support from talented alternative healers, I am relieved to say that my child is now okay.
Furthermore, I practice BaZi, or Chinese Astrology, from the same academy founded by Joey Yap. This expertise is instrumental in personalizing a house design to energetically benefit the owner(s).
In most cases, architectural designers and feng shui practitioners operate separately; however, with my unique skillset, I can efficiently provide both architectural design and classical feng shui insights.
Feng Shui has gained popularity in recent years, yet it is often misunderstood. In my professional opinion, the only authentic system is Classical Feng Shui, which is deeply rooted in principles that consider elements of architectural design, the physical environment, and Chinese Astrology. The modern 'put' Feng Shui attempts to simplify the principles in a one size fits all system. Often resulting in hit or miss effectiveness.
A true Feng Shui master must take into account land forms, create an accurate Chi Map, connect it to your personal birth chart, and provide tailored recommendations to optimize the unique energy in your space.
Requirements for a professional Feng Shui assessment include:
- Building facing direction
- Year built or first occupied
- Accurate floor layout (.jpg)
- Your date of birth
- Physical location
- Specialized software to plot a Chi Map
Similar to Western Astrology, Chinese Astrology provides an energetic snapshot of the universe at your time of birth. These energies you received at the moment of your birth shape your capacity, talents, abilities, personality and possible life challenges. While thousands of babies can be born at the same moment on planet Earth, factors such as free will, unique life circumstances, and location of birth create distinct paths for each individual. BaZi is a valuable tool that offers profound clarity in making major life decisions; such as career choice.
I utilize the BaZi chart to connect your personal energetic map to the classical feng shui map of the house you live in.
Many Chinese Astrologers provide deep insights into the roots of your life issues, make recommendations on how to 'best' use your birth chart, and predict future outcomes. However, I focus on using your birth chart to identify beneficial elements and how to find them within your home and/or work space.
In my opinion, predicting future outcomes cannot be 100% accurate since we all possess free will; the choices we make each day set our path ahead, within the realms of our capabilities.
